” 2022 Recap”

The Right to Life Human Rights Center has conducted a series of studies with the aim of studying the human rights violations, violence and democracy issues related to the public uprisings in Sri Lanka in 2022 and to identify what should not happen and give recommendations in this regard.

It focused on three main case studies. The incidents related to the police firing in Rambukkana on April 19, 2022, the attack on the protest site near the Galleface Presidential Secretariat on May 09, 2022 and other incidents that started on the same day in retaliation.
