The Right to Life Human Rights Centre successfully convened its Annual HRFAC Coordinators’ Meeting and Annual Evaluation, bringing together coordinators from across the country to collectively review the past year’s progress, experiences, and developments.
The meeting served as an important space for reflection and evaluation, providing an opportunity to review key activities carried out during the year, assess the progress achieved, and reflect on both the successes and challenges encountered along the way. The discussions also enabled coordinators to share experiences from their respective regions, creating an opportunity to learn from one another and gain a broader understanding of the work being carried out across the HRFAC network.
Through the exchange of experiences and reflections, the meeting highlighted the importance of continued coordination, communication, and collaboration among the different regions. It provided space to identify areas that require further attention and to consider priorities for the months ahead, based on the experiences and lessons gathered during the past year.
The Annual Evaluation also offered an opportunity to look collectively at the progress of the HRFAC network and to reflect on how its work can continue to respond effectively to human rights concerns within communities across Sri Lanka. The shared discussions and experiences reinforced the value of working together as a network and maintaining a collective commitment to advancing and protecting human rights.
The meeting further strengthened the sense of shared responsibility among HRFAC coordinators and reaffirmed the importance of collaboration in sustaining and developing the network’s work. By bringing together experiences from different regions, the meeting contributed to a stronger understanding of the work undertaken across the country and helped establish common priorities for the period ahead.
