The educational program aimed to empower the Human Rights Defenders Group in Matara, Thihagoda. Held on August 6th at Mahesha Hotel, the event focused on providing valuable knowledge and skills to the participants, enabling them to effectively advocate for and protect human rights in their community. Through various workshops, discussions, and interactive sessions, attendees were equipped with tools to better understand, promote, and safeguard human rights principles. The program fostered collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and a strengthened commitment to advancing human rights causes in the region.
